Adventure outside of NYC: Part of the ridiculous directions to lead us here…
In Centerville at the firehouse, turn north (right) on RT 35 (Blue Mountain Rd) then at the general store turn west (bear left) onto RT 35 (West Saugerties Rd)(set odometer here). Continue on West Saugerties Rd. about 2.1 miles to the very small town of West Saugerties, just about 5 houses near a “T” intersection. (Some try to access the Plattekill Clove area by hiking up the creek from this point but this is not really possible nor is there much parking here nor any legal access at his point. It is private property.)
